6 Feet Apart Texas A&M International University Spring '21 Senior Art Exhibition

Poster for TAMIU's 6 Feet Apart Exhibition

6 Feet Apart is the senior exhibition of a unique group of TAMIU art students. They are unique in that they had many new obstacles to overcome and challenges to face in the pursuit of their art education during this global pandemic. These students did not put their dreams on hold but instead worked within these new limitations. For many of them the majority of their upper level classes were taken from a distance and they had to have the self motivation and devotion to their craft without the same level of support they would have being in a studio classroom. The self sufficiency and resourcefulness gained will serve them as they continue their studio practice post graduation.
